Strange But Not A Stranger

Hello Fellow Princesses!!!

My name is Brielle, and I am a currently transitioning transgender woman.

"So what's with that name?"

So about the name of my blog, you may be wondering why it's so strange. Well basically it's a representation of my double life. I'll get into this more in a later post, but basically I keep my transgender identity a secret to most of the people I know.

You may be wondering why every title of my blog posts are also strange. Basically I try to have the title of every post reference lines from my favorite band, Talking Heads. Take for instance, the name of this blog post is "Strange But Not a Stranger", a line from their hit song "Burning Down the House". For any TH fans out there, have fun guessing what song each title is from. It's just one of the ways I like to express myself on this blog.

"So what's this blog about?"

The content of most of my blog posts will usually be either updates on my life (which I'll probably make a separate page for), and personal stories about my experiences as a closeted transgender. However, this is just the beginning of my blog, so things may change over time.

"So what even is the point of this blog?"

Well basically this blog is just something I would like to do in an effort to channel my emotions. Life as a closeted transgender can get really stressful at times, and I feel like putting my emotions into words can really make me feel better. 

But I'm not just doing this for me though. I hope that some of you fellow princesses who are like me, can relate to my experiences and maybe even learn something from them. I may not know all the answers, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to help.

"So how often will you be posting?"

Well, honestly I don't know. This is my first ever blog post, and so it basically depends on when I have time. But, I am thinking about maybe posting every two weeks, or maybe even every week if I'm feeling adventurous.

"Anything else you wanna tell me?"
